A Great Run Company video shows him present Sir Mo with a series of local-theme gifts and then appoint the four-time Olympic gold medallist and six-time World Champion as a 'honorary Geordie'. The Olympian and six-time Great North Run winner has picked Sunday's half-marathon as his last ever professional event and its founder Sir Brendan Foster was keen to mark the occasion in a special way. Ahead of the Great North Run, Sir Mo Farah was clearly delighted to receive a mystery box filled with gifts that would be seen as pure gold for any Geordie.
